We are the strategic publishing partner for serious authors who value guidance, excellence, and meaningful results.
For many authors, publishing a book isn’t the goal. It’s only the beginning.
Self-publishing can build your authority, drive new business, or define your legacy. But without the right strategy, you might invest time, money, and energy into a book that doesn’t support your full goals.
We’re not a high-volume self-publishing service, and we won’t treat you like a number. We’re a small, hands-on publishing partner that guides every book through a proven, highly customized process. We work with an incredible network of publishing professionals, and we offer strategic guidance at every turn.
“Sarah is an exceptional, diverse editor with an attention to detail that every project needs.
She helped me research, compile, and edit the fourth and fifth editions of my book, The Fine Print of Self-Publishing. This book is directly responsible for a significant amount of business for my company. Sarah was my first and only choice for this editing assignment.”

“I worked with a different publishing company on my first book, and there were many bumps along the way. To discover Spoonbridge Press was a gift and a pleasure.”

We work best with authors who see their book as more than just a book. Whether you’re publishing to expand your professional network, connect more deeply with readers, or honor your story, we guide each project with clarity, judgment, and care.
We let your true needs and goals shape the process, whether that’s connecting with online readers or using your book as an extension of your greater body of work. Whatever your goals, our combined 20 years of experience in editing and publishing and 15 years in education make us the right team to help transform your knowledge and insight into a professional book you’ll be proud to share with clients, loved ones, and the world.
“I don’t see Sarah as an editor. I see her as a book shepherd.
I’ve written three other books, and I’ve had other editors, but what Sarah offers is the whole package. She’s a project manager, a cheerleader, an accountability partner, a liaison to book designers and marketing folks, and an extraordinary strategic partner in bringing your project to life. I would highly recommend Sarah Kolb-Williams and Spoonbridge Press for your next book project if your intention is to bring something important and meaningful to the world.”

“After researching and interviewing several publishers, one of the best decisions I’ve made is to select the great team at Spoonbridge Press.
Sarah Kolb-Williams was an outstanding coach, listening to my intentions and suggesting edits that improved the quality of what I was trying to convey. Britt Peterson was a master conductor of details, steps, tasks, and handoffs that produced a wonderful edition. I couldn’t be happier with the result.”
